YOGA
A graduate of Sukhita* Yoga, in Pali (the language of the Buddha) Sukhita means ‘happy, healthy, easy’.
I have been practising yoga for many years, decades even, before embarking on the yoga Teacher Training.
My yoga journey has embraced many styles of yoga from Hatha and in the last 6 / 7 years regular Ashtanga yoga practice, more recently Sukhita yoga.
My teachers include Hugh Poulton and Sarah Haden (Sukhita Yoga) with whom I completed my 200 hour Teacher Training and whose classes I regularly attend.
Other teachers include:- yoga retreats with Phillipa Asher in India & Danny Paradise in Crete, Greece. Workshops with Manju Jois, John Scott, Scot Johnson, Lucy Scott / Crawford, Liz Lark, Joey Miles, Reema Datta, Kia Naddermier & Tim Feldmann, (all Ashtanga yogis).
My teaching is rooted in the Sukhita Mind & Body method and informed by my Ashtanga practise.
*formally Integrated Yoga & Mindfulness
