Cotswold House Hotel

During Artweeks 2002 the owners of Cotswold Hotel visited my studio which was then at The Old Dairy, Prescote, Cropredy. They offered me a commission to paint several sets of paintings for a number of bedrooms. The hotel was having a revamp, groups of rooms were having a different colour theme. My commission was for the earthy / peachy colours. Working from swatches of fabrics and colours that the rooms were going to be decorated with, the Ribbons Series was painted.
